Our Origins
It all began in the majestic Middle Atlas Mountains. It is here, far from the hustle and bustle of big cities and industrial production, that the heart of Berber culture beats.
When creating AZLIF, our goal was simple: to reject the standardization of modern decor and return to the essentials. We wanted to offer pieces that have a soul, a story to tell, and that bring unparalleled warmth to your home.
The Hands Behind the Craft
An AZLIF rug is not made by a machine, but by the expert hands of our partner artisans. This ancestral craftsmanship has been passed down from mother to daughter for generations.
They weave according to traditional patterns inspired by their collective memory. Each geometric pattern, each line, each symbol represents an emotion, a story, or a protection. This is what makes each AZLIF rug strictly unique in the world. No two are identical.
Time as the Only Luxury
True luxury takes time. From shearing local sheep to selecting the wool, then washing, carding, and finally weaving knot by knot, a single rug requires 3 to 5 weeks of handcrafted work.
We use natural Atlas wool, selected for its softness and resistance. This patience and high standards for raw materials guarantee your rug lasting quality and exceptional comfort.

Founder & Director — TrustCar / Azlif
Born and raised in Morocco, Anas grew up surrounded by Berber craftsmanship—the hand-woven rugs that have adorned Atlas homes for generations. Convinced that this expertise deserved to be known far beyond Morocco's borders, he founded Azlif with a simple ambition: to directly connect Berber artisans with European homes, without intermediaries and without compromising on authenticity.
