Frequently Asked Questions

Discover everything there is to know about our handmade Berber carpets, from their creation to their care.

Our Rugs & Manufacturing

Absolutely. At AZLIF, there is no industrial production or machinery. Each rug is hand-knotted, knot by knot, by our artisan partners in the Middle Atlas Mountains of Morocco. A certificate of authenticity is also included in each package.

We exclusively use pure virgin sheep's wool from the Atlas region. This is what gives our rugs their thickness, exceptional softness, and long-lasting durability. For colored rugs, we prioritize natural dyes (saffron, henna, indigo).

As our rugs are artisanal works woven from memory, slight variations in color, asymmetry in patterns, or dimensions (+/- 5%) may occur. These are not defects, but irrefutable proof of the authenticity of a handmade product!

Order & Custom-Made

We do not keep industrial warehouse stock. When you confirm your order, the creation process begins specifically for you. Wool washing, carding, spinning, then the meticulous weaving that takes several weeks. Excellence takes time.

It's our specialty! If the size you need is not in the drop-down menu, click on the "Custom Made" button on the product page, or contact us directly on WhatsApp (+33746392991). We will provide you with a personalized quote very quickly.

Yes. You have 30 days after receiving your rug to request a return, whether for a manufacturing defect or a simple change of mind. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.Contact usfor validation and instructions.

If the carrier has damaged the package,
we recommend contacting us within 48 hours to facilitate the processing of your case. We will find a solution immediately (replacement or refund).

Maintenance & Cleaning

Vacuum your rug regularly (1 to 2 times a week), but always without using the rotating brush of your vacuum cleaner, so as not to tear out the pure wool. During the first few weeks, it is normal for the rug to shed a little excess wool ("it's shedding"), this will fade quickly.

Act quickly. Blot the liquid with a clean, dry cloth (do not rub). If necessary, use a little warm water with neutral Marseille soap. Never use strong chemicals or detergents. For stubborn stains, call a professional dry cleaner.
